What to Ask an Electric Bike Manufacturer Before Ordering
Ask about specifications, samples, OEM capability, inspection, battery information, certification, packaging, lead time, after-sales support and spare parts.
A clear pre-order discussion reduces later changes. Ask for the specification that belongs to the exact model, including motor, battery, controller, wheels, brakes and charger.
If the program is branded, ask what OEM options are available for identification, color and packaging, and whether a sample can be produced from that specification. Sample cost and shipping should be confirmed for the model.
Quality and compliance questions belong in the same conversation: incoming and final inspection, battery information, and any certification documents that apply to the destination market. Certification depends on the actual product model and target market.
Also ask about packaging, lead time, after-sales communication and spare-part availability. Those points affect how the product is received and supported after shipment.
Certification depends on the actual product model and target market.
